About Riverside, the Farnsley-Moremen Landing, Inc.
Riverside, the Farnsley-Moremen Landing, Inc. is a 501-c-3 nonprofit organization that works to provide additional support to Louisville Parks and Recreation in its management of Riverside, the Farnsley-Moremen Landing located at 7410 Moorman Road, Louisville, KY 40272. The nonprofit Board raises funds to support historic preservation activities, educational public programs, long-range planning, capital projects, promotional activities, and volunteer engagement at the property. The Board is primarily self-appointing, however, four (4) of its members are appointed by the Mayor. The relationship between the nonprofit and Louisville Parks and Recreation is governed by a Memorandum of Understanding.
Mission
Riverside, the Farnsley-Moremen Landing, Inc. exists to promote, preserve, restore, and interpret historic farm life on the Ohio River.
Meetings
Board meetings take place on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 5:30 PM at 7410 Moorman Road, Louisville, KY 40272. Historically, the Board does NOT meet in July or December. Exceptions to this schedule will be posted here.
