Hello everyone,
It’s with no small amount of regret that we must announce the cancellation of Saturday’s Family Farm and Forage Day at Riverside, the Farnsley-Moremen Landing.
If you live in the Ohio Valley, you know to expect summertime showers and thunderstorms as almost a daily occurrence. Saturday’s event, thanks to the remnants of Tropical Storm Bill, is a different story.
The forecasters are in agreement that what we’ll have on Saturday is an all-day rain. As we’ve invited presenters from across the state of Kentucky to participate in this, our inaugural event, it’s a lot to expect them to come and spend their time in those conditions.
The good news is we’ve already set a date for next year. Family Farm and Forage Day will return on Saturday, June 18, 2016. With an extra year to plan, our goal is to make it bigger and better!
