Join us for a virtual discussion “Engaging Descendant Communities” led by Joe McGill, founder of The Slave Dwelling Project in partnership with Farmington Historic Plantation, Historic Locust Grove, Oxmoor Farm Foundation, and Riverside, the Farnsley-Moremen Landing. Descendants and representatives from each historic site will join us as panelists.
This inaugural collaborative event between Louisville area historic homes will highlight the history of slavery at each historic site and how that history is relevant today in Louisville and beyond.
Get ready to Zoom with us! This virtual event will be held on Thursday, October 15 at 6:30 pm.
Tickets are $12. All proceeds from this event will be used for future collaborative conversations within the historic home community in Louisville.
