On Saturday, June 17, we will celebrate the rich history of this historic farm site–and explore present-day farming! Activities for the whole family: horse-drawn wagon rides, farm animal petting zoo, 4-H fair, “Bessie” the Cow Milking Demos, musical entertainment, children’s planting activities, Kentucky Proud recipe tastings, Kentucky State University mobile kitchen demos, and tours of the Farnsley-Moremen House. Other featured activities include demonstrations and speakers on: forage crops, high tunnels, raising chickens, beekeeping, keeping goats, beneficial garden insects and more!
